Peach Sorbet
It's just peachy! Cool and refreshing peach sorbet makes a great dessert.

  • 6 large peaches
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • Juice of 1/2 a medium lemon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch salt
  1. Clean, peel and slice peaches. Place them into a freezer bag and freeze. Add sugar into the hot water and stir until it dissolves making simple syrup. Add the frozen peaches, syrup and remaining ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth. Serve immediately or cover and freeze in a ceramic casserole dish or metal pan for later. It will keep a few days.
